In Special Olympics World Games india"s Prabhroop Sekhon wins two golds

14 year old Prabhroop Sekhon has won two gold medals in the Special Olympics World Summer Games that held at Los Angeles. Prabhroop Sekhon has won the medals in 300&500 metre Roller Skating event. Prabhroop Sekhon hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Earlier he was coached and selected for various camps at State and National level. Prabhroop is an Autistic student and is son of a serving Indian Air-Force Officer, Group Captain BS Sekhon.
Special Olympics World Summer Games:

They are an international sporting competition organized by the Special Olympics for athletes with intellectual disabilities.Special Olympics founded in 1968 by Eunice Kennedy Shriver to celebrate the talents, perseverance and achievements of those with intellectual disabilities.

In Special Olympics World Games Ranveer Singh Saini wins Gold medal

India’s Ranveer Singh Saini has won a Gold medal at the Special Olympics World Games that held in Los Angeles. 14 year old golfer suffering from autistic achieved this feat in Golf, Golf-Level 2 Alternate Shot Team Play. With this victory Ranveer singh became the 1st Golfer from India to win the Gold medal at the Special Olympics World Games.Earlier in 2013, Ranveer Singh had become the 1st golfer from India to wins 2 Gold medals at the Asia Pacific World Games.Ranveer Singh belongs from Gurgaon, Haryana. At the age of 2 years, Ranveer Singh was diagnosed with autism. He had taken Golf as a sport at the age of 9. It should be noted that autism is a neurological disorder characterised by impaired social interaction.
