Australian all rounder Shane Watson has declared his retirement from all forms of International Cricket after the end of his team’s campaign in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20. He made this announcement at I S Bindra Stadium in Mohali, Punjab. Earlier in 2015, he had announced his retirement from Test cricket at the end of 2015 Ashes tour of England.

He is a World Cup wining member of Australian team which had triumphed in 2007 and 2015. T20I’s career: He had played total 56 T20I matches and had scored 1400 runs at an average of 28.00. His highest ODI score was 124 (not out) and the total score comprises of One century. In the T20Is bowling, he had taken 46 wickets at an average of 24.71 and the best bowling is 4-1. He was named the player of the tournament in the 2012 edition. IPL: In 2016 auction, he was bought for a whopping Rs 9.5 crore by the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
