The 2015 Man Booker Prize for his novel ” A Brief History of Seven Killings” goes to Jamaican author Marlon James . With this achievement, he became first Jamaican Author to win Man Booker Prize. This Epic 680 page Novel is Inspired by the attempted assassination on Jamaican musician worldwide known as Bob Marley in the 1970s.
It has been published by Oneworld Publications.James’s had been shortlished by Judges from a list of 8 writers including him along with Hanya Yanagihara, Chigozie Obioma, Tom McCarthy, Anne Tyler, India’s Sunjeev Sahota and Marlon James.
