YUDH ABHYAS 2015 India and US Combined Military Training Exercise will be held from 9 September 2015 at the Joint Base Lewis McChord in United States. It was announced by the Union Defence Ministry in New Delhi. This joint military exercise will be the 11th edition of such event in the Yudh Abhyas.The joint military training exercise seeks to broaden and strengthen co-operation and interoperability between armies of both democratic countries. It will also provide an platform for the army personnel of the both countries to share their experiences on military operations in urban terrain under the United Nations mandate. The YUDH ABHYAS was started in 2004 between India and United State under US Army Pacific partnership program. Since then 2 countries have decided to progressively increase the scope and content of the joint training.
