Trident Juncture Military Exercise in Italy has launched by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to test the alliance’s ability to respond to new security threats. It will also express NATO’s capability to deal with traditional military engagements to more precise hybrid warfare techniques and propaganda. In past 13 years It is the biggest military exercise conducted by alliance of 30 countries of NATO as it has assembled around 36,000 soldiers, sailors and airmen.
Key facts
- This operation is taking place in the Sicilian city Trapani (Italy).
- It will be continued till early November 2015 and extend into Portugal ,Spain and adjacent waters.
