Carolina Marin Martin of Spain has won the World Badminton Championship in women’s single category. In the final match she defeated India’s Saina Nehwal by 2 set score of 16-21 and 19-21. Carolina Marin had won this championship second time. Earlier Carolina had won it in 2014 becoming 1st Spanish women player to win this prestigious title.Saina Nehwal is 1st Indian women badminton player to reach in the finals of Badminton World Championship(BWC). In the semifinal match she had defeated Indonesian’s Lindaweni Fanetria in straight game by 2 set score of 21-17 and 21-17.
