The Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad released a commemorative postal stamp on emperor Ashoka on 24 August 2015.Postal stamp of 5 rupees will be available for sale in the post offices.
Minister R.S Prasad announced to release the postal stamp during a (BJP) function to celebrate the birth anniversary of Ashoka.
