Barcelona FC wins the FIFA Club World Cup 2015 for a record 3rd time

Barcelona FC has won the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup for a record 3rd time. In the final match played at International Stadium Yokoham in Japan the winning team defeated River Plate FC by 3-0 goals. 3 goals for Barcelona FC were scored by the Lionel Messi (36 minute), Luis Suarez (49 minute) and Neymar (68 minute). Earlier Barcelona FC had won the FIFA Club World Cup in 2009 & 2011 and it is their 5th trophy of season 2015.

  • The FIFA Club World Cup is an international men’s association football competition organised by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

  • It was established in 2000 and formerly was known as the FIFA Club World Championship. The inaugural FIFA Club World Cup was won by Corinthians FC of Brazil.
