ICGS Arinjay a Fast patrol vessel got commissioned in Kochi

The fast patrol vessel (FPV) , ICGS Arinjay of Aadesh-Class of Indian Coast Guard was commissioned in Kochi, Kerala. Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba,the chief of Southern Naval Command Commissioned this (FPV). It is constructed by Kochi Ship Yard under the Aadesh-Class and is 15th of the 20 vessel .


It will be used for


Anti-smuggling, rescue operation and anti-piracy activities.


Monitoring activities & Fisheries protection.


To increase the protection level of India’s exclusive economic zone(EEZ).
