On 12 November 2015 Subir Vithal Gokarn Former Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India was appointed as an Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Gokarn will replace Rakesh Mohan at the IMF. His three-year tenure ends in November 2015.
