Anand Krishnamurthy is the new MD & CEO of Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) replacing Rakesh Bhatia who had quit job due to personal reason. This appointment was done by the board of directors of CSB among the 3 named sent to RBI.
About Anand Krishnamurthy:
Mr. Anand has previously worked with HSBC for more then 20 years and also headed the Wholesale Banking & Treasury of CSB for last 1 year. Anand was responsible for corporate banking, integrate-treasury-operations of the Bank.
About CSB:
The Catholic Syrian Bank is 94 year old private sector bank established on 26th November 1920. It has its strong base in Kerala along with significant presence in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Maharashtra. Recently it has filed for an IPO for 400 crore rupees.
