Haryana Government has launched Thari Pension, Thare Pass project to directly transfer pension into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.Project was launched by the haryana’s CM Manohar Lal Khattar in Chandigarh. This project has been launched in the view of bringing more transparency in disbursement of social security pensions for Old age people, Handicapped and Widows.The programme provides facility to pensioner of tracing their account online to know their balance in his or her bank account.It is being implemented by the state government’s Social Justice and Empowerment Department and has been undertaken by the Team Kalyankarini of the department. Under the Thari Pension, Thare Pass campaign about 10 lakh people from the state will get payment of social security pensions of July 2015 month directly into their bank accounts through banks and post offices.
