India and Egypt have signed two (MoUs) in the field of Tourism, Scientific and Technical. These Memorandum of Understandings(MoUS) were signed during the visit tour of Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to Egypt.

Memorandum of Understandings on Co-operation in the field of Tourism:
It seeks to enhance the bilateral co-operation in the field of Tourism, Hospitality and Human Resource Development between both nations India and Egypt. It also seeks to the draw up a road map to enhance co-operation and establish a Joint Working Group.
MoU Scientific and Technical Co-operation: It seeks to support extension and promotion of cooperation in Technology Development and Scientific Research in fields of mutual interest of both nations.
Both countries relations: India is Egypt’s 6th largest trading partner. Top 5 Indian exports to Egypt include meat, petroleum, transport equipments, cotton yarns and instruments. Potential sector for India to enhance the trade also includes Energy and pharmaceuticals companies.
