Integrated security system has been inaugurated by railway minister Suresh Prabhu

Union Railway Minister (Suresh Prabhu) begin the Integrated Security System (ISS) at 6 railway stations in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The system was began at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Dadar, Kurla and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Kalyan and Thane.

The integrated security system aims at improving security on Railway land and also ensure safety of the people and to prevent terror attacks in extreme case.


This system contains 118 cctv cameras. They will beam the live images of railway stations under its coverage on six monitors. First project has completed in 2015,in this project four stations are coverd – CST ,Dadra,Kurla and LTT. .And it is expected that second phase will be completed by December 2016.
