Virender Sehwag announces his Retirement from all forms of International Cricket

Virender Sehwag a right handed batsman of Indian cricket team has announced his retirement from  international cricket.His last appearance in Indian Cricket team was two and a half years back  in Test match for india  in March 2013 against Australia in Hyderabad.


About Virender Sehwag


  • Born: Virender Sehwag was born on 20th October 1978 in New Delhi. He had started his international cricket career for India in 1999 after he played his first One Day International (ODI) against Pakistan Cricket Team and later in 2001 he became the part of  Indian Test team. In his remarkable career, he had scored total 17,253 international runs across all formats.

  • ODI Career: He had played 251 ODI(One Day International)  matches and scored 8273 runs with total batting average of 35.05. .

  • Test Career: He had played total of  104 test matches for india and scored 8,586 runs with total batting average of 49.34. His total score is at fifth position in India’s all-time list.
